Who it is for

Private hospitals and clinics, and their patients

Cost

Fully funded by Vita Panacea

At no cost to your clinic or your patients

Vita Panacea funds the pilot in full. We provide the Nexus app and Med Pods, handle delivery and collection, onboard your patients and manage the reporting.

For clinics

Each speciality enrols ten patients for twelve weeks, with around five hours of consultant time across the pilot for protocol input, oversight and an end-of-pilot review.

For patients

Patients use the Nexus app and Med Pods with their usual medicines for twelve weeks, and their treatment stays exactly as it is.

For clinics

  • Onboarding and training for your team, for the pilot and again at launch

  • A report on your cohort, and a co-branded case study for your own use

  • Early access to Nexus, including new features for your speciality

  • First allocation of launch stock, and a place in the first wave of the roll-out

  • Founding partner terms at launch, set out in your pilot agreement

  • A listing as a Nexus clinic in the app and on our website

  • A joint announcement, if you would like one

  • A say in what we build next

  • The opportunity to join our clinical advisory board, subject to approval

For patients

You keep a record of each dose and how your medicine was stored, giving your consultant a fuller picture between appointments.

  • The Nexus app and Med Pods free for the twelve weeks

  • A Nexus device from your clinic at launch, at no cost to you

  • Your full twelve-week record, to keep and share with any clinician you choose

  • A place on our patient design panel, if you would like one

Clinics

Places are limited. We’ll confirm your registration, then contact the sites we select.

Patients

Registering tells us you would like to take part. Places are offered through the participating clinics, so we will be in touch if a clinic near you is selected.

Is Nexus a regulated medical device?

Yes. Nexus has been classified as a Class I medical device under the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002, following an independent regulatory assessment by an external, leading MedTech CRO, and it will be UKCA marked and registered with the MHRA before the pilot begins.

How is the pilot governed?

Every site follows the same protocol, overseen by a named consultant, with ethics review wherever the study design requires it. Selected sites receive the protocol, the data protection impact assessment and the site agreement before anything is signed.

How will patient data be handled?

Patient data is handled in line with UK GDPR, and selected sites receive the full terms, including where the data is held and how it is secured, before the pilot starts.

What will the pilot show?

The pilot shows how doses, storage and each patient’s own reports look side by side over twelve weeks. It is not a trial of any treatment and makes no claims about one.

What would it ask of my team?

Very little, and selected sites receive full details of what is involved before anything is agreed.

How are sites chosen?

We are looking for private hospitals and clinics with a consultant willing to oversee a small group of patients over twelve weeks, and everyone who registers will hear from us, whatever the outcome.

Can I take part as a patient?

Yes, you can register your interest using the patient form. Places are offered through the participating clinics, so registering does not guarantee a place.

Choose the form that fits you; each takes about two minutes.

I’m a clinician, or work in a clinic or hospital

Register your interest if you’d like your hospital or clinic to host the pilot.

I’m a patient or carer

Let us know you would like to take part, and we will be in touch if a clinic near you is selected.
